Job Description
The Opportunity:
What were looking for
NuSil Technology LLC a provider of silicone materials to the medical aerospace & defense and other industries is in need of a Project Engineer to be primarily located in Irving Texas. This is an experienced fulltime directhire position. Under minimal supervision the Project Engineer will be responsible for the initiation planning monitoring & controlling and completion of capital projects from $3000 upwards. Noncapital projects (design development improvement etc. and other related work will be assigned as well. The Project Engineer will work directly with contractors as well as subject matter experts within the company to complete projects from start to finish. It will be the responsibility of the project engineer to effectively communicate and maintain all project information.
The Project Manager will own project assignments from concept to closure. This will include preparatory documentation stakeholder engagement Scope of Work creation cost estimation schedule creation solicitation of funding approvals procurement activities construction management equipment qualification and validation activities all in a ISO9000 FDA AS9100 cGMP ITAR environment. Other activities may be required or assigned depending on the specific project needs. Nonprojectrelated work may include departmental documentation participation in various initiatives as a team member or Subject Matter Expert or collaboration with other departments and sites.
Preferred Qualifications
A minimum of 13 Years of Project Management experience working on design and build projects.
A Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical or Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited University
Experience with 3D CAD software preferably solid works as well as experience with 2D CAD software such as Auto CAD or a similar software.
Technical Writing skills as well as effective communication skills.
Selfmotivated and the ability to work on various multidisciplinary projects simultaneously.
Occasional Travel to other Nusil Sites. (Project dependent)
How you will thrive and create an impact
Microsoft Projects or other similar software to create and maintain project timelines.
PMP Certification preferred.
Experience in a cGMP Manufacturing Environment
Familiarity with relevant industry standards; ASME BPVC/B31.3 ISA 84 TEMA NFPA 70/70E etc.
Familiarity with PSM Requirements
Ability to interpret data for ROI Calculations
