What You Can Expect

As our High Voltage Shop Intern at The Ohio State University you will be responsible for supporting multiple aspects of the campuss high voltage distribution and maintenance as well as electrical reliability of campus chill water and steam plants. Every day you will document and update campus HV system drawings and develop an organized repository for existing and future drawings.

• You will organize and prioritize work and handle multiple tasks and be able to communicate effectively both written and verbally
• You have goodinterpersonal skills and selfmotivated
• You possess knowledge of general procurement processes or business principles
• You have experience with the software included in the Microsoft Office Suite particularly word processing spreadsheets and database programs

You will report to the High Voltage Operations and Maintenance Manager. The internship work term will be start on June 2 2025 August 22 2025.

What Youll Bring

• You are a Junior or Senior at The Ohio State University working toward a bachelors degree in electrical engineering

Additional Details

• This role requires attendance at a worksiteon a daily basis
• Must possess a valid U.S. drivers license
• Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
• 10 hours per week minimum; Additional hours/weeks may be available based on business needs and will be discussed in advance with your supervisor
• Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIEs policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing
• Work environment includes a blend of indoor office setting and some outdoor site visits and walk throughs during construction phase
• While performing the duties of this job the employee is not exposed to weather conditions
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
• Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
• Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
• You will complete other duties as they relate to the job

Compensation

Hourly: $25.00 USD hourly

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
