Your Role:
This position plays a key role in the large automation initiative from Atlas Copco focusing on automated screw feeding solutions. In this role you will be involved in developing a control platform for our global screw feeding and automation products. The main mission is to develop products with the highest quality and leading technology providing the best value for our customers. As we say at Atlas Copco to be First in mind and First in Choice in their eyes.
Your Mission Includes:
- Creating new products and solutions for automated screw feeding systems as part of an agile development team
- Designing innovative software and interface architectures that integrate our Atlas Copco core products
- Testing and evaluating the latest technologies and trends in the field of automation and robotics
- Developing rapid prototypes and providing fast and targeted concept analyses
- Providing technical support to our internal and external customers
- Offering onsite support for the installation or maintenance of automated systems at international customer locations during product launches
What you bring along:
- A technical academic degree in Engineering with extensive knowledge of automation and tightening techniques
- Proficiency in PLC programming preferably with proven experience in Codesys
- Experience using EPLAN for creating and maintaining circuit diagrams and electrical drawings
- Practical thinking and a handson mentality for wiring testing and troubleshooting electrical control systems
- Knowledge of SQL and other database query languages for extracting and manipulating data for dashboards
- Experience developing HMI solutions and (webbased) user interfaces using common languages like HTML5 and JavaScript
- An innovative mindset staying abreast of technology trends and working closely with customers
- Excellent proficiency in English and German both spoken and written
- A team player with strong communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
