The Munich Marriott City West sets new benchmarks and standards in meetings & events. Inspired by the Bavarian lifestyle and with 398 guest rooms and suites and nearly 5000 sqm of public space including a stateoftheart conference center customized and firstclass event needs are put into practice. The upscale concept includes the Italian restaurant & Vineria Assoluto with open show kitchen the Assoluto Caffe and the Westhub Lounge & Bar offering an outstanding culinary offering combined with warm hospitality in a stylish ambience. Our guests are also delighted by the spectacular roof terrace and MClub Lounge with panoramic views over the city all the way to the Bavarian Alps. The hotel is located in the lively Westend centrally located in the immediate vicinity of Munichs Old Town and within walking distance of the famous Oktoberfest grounds.

Who we are looking for
You are a passionate host and approach our international guest clientele with warmth openness and professionalism in order to make their event something special. You have organizational talent keep an overview even in complex situations and always find a solution. No matter how many events conferences and events are taking place at the same time you have an overview of everything whether administrative or operational.
What are your responsibilities are...
- From the welcome to the farewell you are the main contact person for the organizer during the event
- You take care of changes on site
- You take care of guest requests and complaints while keeping a cool head and always having a brilliant idea for a solution
- You are responsible for ensuring that the event runs smoothly this also includes taking part in meetings and good cooperation and coordination with other departments
- You also take care of administrative tasks such as managing deliveries or preparing signage
- You enjoy being in contact with guests and occasionally assist with service
- You communicate clearly with your superiors and other departments and are a real team player
What we want from you
- You have solid professional experience in the upscale hotel/catering industry ideally in the event/banquet sector
- You tackle things and implement new trends with great creativity
- Your strong awareness of quality and your high standards are evident in everything you do
- You are a talented communicator with good knowledge of German and English
- You have organizational talent and dont lose track
- Your winning demeanor your cando attitude and handson mentality are a natural part of your personality
- Your guest orientation and willingness to perform inspire the team
