Job Description
Ecolab is seeking a Sr. Costing Analyst to join our Finance team. The Costing Analyst plays a crucial role in analyzing and controlling organizational costs to enhance profitability and efficiency. This position involves detailed cost analysis budgeting support and collaboration with crossfunctional teams to drive datadriven decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate insights effectively.
What you will do:
Conduct detailed cost analysis.
Prepare reports on cost trends variances and other profitability metrics.
Support annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes
Investigate discrepancies between actual and budgeted/standard costs.
Partner with supply chain: procurement logistics manufacturing teams to gather data and get insights
Effectively communicate costing impacts to Divisions
Monitor inventory valuation through the year
Ensure adherence to internal accounting policies and SOX compliance
Minimum Qualifications:
Business fluent in English (written and verbal)
Bachelors degree in finance and / or accounting or relevant business experience
5 Years of experience in Finance
1 year of experience supervising others
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
Ability to analyze and summarize data and draw meaningful conclusions
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables VLOOKUP)
Familiarity with Power BI
Cultural awareness and sensitivity/flexibility in collaborating with people of different backgrounds
Result oriented proactive and possesses a high level of integrity.
Selfmotivated and both detail and process oriented.
Good team player
