About Primer

Fixing our K12 education system is a civilizationallyimportant problem. We believe that all of our problems including the ones that dominate the headlines are downstream of education.

We have a simple thesis on how to solve it: empower 1000s of educators to launch microschools in their communities.

We believe the historical tradeoff between price (tuition) and quality is a false dichotomy.

PrimerOS automates and eliminates much of the costs of traditional schools. Microschools have a structural advantage assetlight real estate which means much lower capex and opex. You put it together and you get something thats never existed before: a worldclass education thats accessible to normal American families and can rapidly scale.

About the Role

Were hiring an Admissions Representative to join our small team as we enroll families for theschool year and beyond. Choosing a school is one of the most important decisions a parent has to make. Educating parents on Primers program and partnering with them during their decisionmaking process is a profound responsibilityone that requires trust empathy and an unwavering commitment to helping families find the best educational fit for their child. The ideal candidate will have top 1 communication skills enjoys speaking to families lives in Birmingham and has experience owning a highvolume pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Bring prospective families through Primers admissions process: Host phone calls and Zoom Parent Meetings with prospective families to discuss their childrens educational needs and introduce them to Primer. Provide clear and accurate responses to any questions asked which requires a deep understanding of Primers academic program and philosophy. Maintain consistent communication through followups with families.

  • Own your pipeline: when youre solving a generational problem every family matters. Utilize sales systems such as Salesforce and Groove to ensure timely followup for every family. Exercise efficient time management to ensure families across all funnel stages are being communicated with.

  • Be maniacal about nailing every touch point you have with families. You will define the familys first impression of Primer. Every text phone call and email matters.

Qualifications

  • Sales and/or admissions experience: Prior experience working in a sales customer service or admissions role demonstrating the ability to build relationships and meet goals. Experience with using CRM and sales engagement platforms.

  • Strong communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information and address concerns from prospective families.

  • Presentation skills: Proficiency in delivering engaging presentations and the ability to adapt the content based on the audiences needs and interests.

  • The ability to adapt in a fastpaced highgrowth environment.

  • Location: Birmingham Alabama.
