Are you a meticulous and driven accounting professional seeking a rewarding opportunity Cordia Resources is seeking a Revenue Accountant. As a Revenue Accountant you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate accounting for revenue and invoicing. Your expertise will actively support our monthly and annual closing processes quarterly reporting efforts and compliance with the SOX Program.
Responsibilities:
Perform accounting activities related to revenue recognition and invoicing
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
Engage in the monthly and annual closing process including preparing journal entries reconciliations and other relevant financial reports.
Contribute to the preparation of quarterly financial statements and reports supporting the companys reporting requirements.
Participate in the compliance efforts of the SOX Program ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Analyze transactions and identify discrepancies working towards resolution and accuracy.
Take ownership of additional accounting tasks and projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
4 years of relevant accounting experience including revenue recognition and invoicing.
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls is a plus.
Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA a plus
