Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform accounting activities related to revenue recognition and invoicing
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Engage in the monthly and annual closing process including preparing journal entries reconciliations and other relevant financial reports.
- Contribute to the preparation of quarterly financial statements and reports supporting the companys reporting requirements.
- Participate in the compliance efforts of the SOX Program ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze transactions and identify discrepancies working towards resolution and accuracy.
- Take ownership of additional accounting tasks and projects as assigned by management.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- 4 years of relevant accounting experience including revenue recognition and invoicing.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls is a plus.
- Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA a plus
