About Team & About Role:
As a Senior Software Engineer(SE) in the Continuous Product Delivery (CPD) team you will play a key role in providing long term stability and last mile delight to our customers. You will work closely with the core engineering team product and support org.
You will be working across Rubrik releases on our onpremise data backup & management offering. You are expected to develop a strong understanding of our product and engineering architecture such as our distributed job framework data lifecycle management filesystem and metadata store.
We are seeking a highly skilled C developer with some familiarity with Python and/or Scala to join our team. As a C Developer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining highperformance software applications using C programming language. You should have strong programming and troubleshooting skills excellent design skills and understanding of distributed systems. The successful candidate will preferably have a good understanding of the storage domain and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

- Design develop and maintain highquality software applications and libraries using C programming language.
- Develop and maintain code written in Python and/or Scala where required.
- Troubleshoot complex software problems in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features.
- Write and maintain technical documentation for software systems and applications.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Continuously improve software quality through process improvement initiatives.
- Keep uptodate with emerging trends in software development.
- BTech/MTech with 913 years of experience.
- Relevant experience in debugging complex issues and delivering fixes in a timely manner.
- Proven background in improving the quality of a product/service.
- Strong programming and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent design skills.
- Understanding of distributed systems and multithreading concepts.
- Preferably have a good understanding of the storage domain.
- Familiarity with various operating systems such as Windows.
- Good knowledge of data structures algorithms and design patterns.
- Good understanding of networking protocols and security concepts.
- Good knowledge of software development methodologies tools and processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
