Make a Difference
Community Hospital Southhas an excellent opportunity available within our main Operating Room located in Indianapolis (Greenwood area) IN. The Operating Room CST will be responsible for scrubbing on a variety of surgical cases. You will assist the surgeons and anticipate needs. The Certified Surgical Technologist will possess knowledge of sterile and aseptic technique.
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
- Associates degree in Surgical Technology from a CAAHEP accredited program of Surgical Technology preferred
- 1 year of Operating Room experience preferred
- Certified Surgical Technologist preferred orrequired within 6 months of hire
- Strong written verbal and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skill are required
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize organize and multitask with a high degree of responsibility responsiveness
- Takes direction well but also self directed and motivated
