Are you a problemsolver with a passion for technology Do you thrive in a dynamic hightech environment where your expertise makes a real impact As a Controls Support Engineer you will be at the heart of Vanderlandes cuttingedge automated facility in Moorebank Sydney ensuring our worldclass logistics systems run smoothly for our customers.
This is more than just fixing issues youre the frontline expert diving deep into root cause analysis to prevent future disruptions. Youll be the goto specialist for highlevel software challenges collaborating with global service desks the Melbourne team and onsite service teams to keep operations running seamlessly 24/7.
Main responsibilities
- Incident management for Vanderlandedesigned material handling solutions
- Own the system Quickly resolve highlevel software issues and keep things moving2.
- Think beyond the fix Perform root cause analysis and look for longterm solutions.
- Be the expert Log and process customer requests in our ITSM system.
- Be flexible Work Monday to Friday between 06:00 22:00 onsite with weekend oncall rotations
Job Requirements
- Education at bachelor (or higher) level technical or IT subjectmatter
- Ideally experienced in software development of automated logistics systems.
- A technical mindset (automation experience is a plus but well train you!
- Strong experience in controls technology.
- Preferred IT background data analysis Splunk Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch Logstash and Kibana) and ASP solutions
- Good knowledge of Oracle PL / SQL C C # and Java
- Excellent English language skills
- Eager to learn and motivated for achievements
- Preferably experienced in working for an international company
- Willing to travel internationally up to 30
- Prepared to participate in a weekend standby rotation
- Hold full working rights to work in Australia (Permanent residency or citizenship).
