Job Title: Construction EHS Consultant

Location: Wilson North Carolina

We are hiring midlevel and seasoned Construction Safety EHS professionals to work within a high performing team. Responsibilities:

• Manage largescale construction projects by initiating and attending meetings performing site walks and ensuring contract requirements are in place
• Educate various stakeholder groups on EHS requirements and best practices
• Collect data create timely reports and communicate trends from field inspections to stakeholder groups.
• Observe work practices onsite and strive to create solutions that optimize employee health and wellness at all times
• Coach personnel on OSHA requirements and clientspecific expectations
• Prepare slide decks and deliver training to the client and other EHS professionals
• Lead meetings as the representative from EHS
• Build programs in collaboration with the greater EHS team
• Lead incident investigations to drive future improvement safe conditions and work practices
• Possess a willingness to continuously learn about new and established processes be enthusiastic!
• Have ability to both lead and take direction ask questions!
• Be a selfstarter and show initiative
• Possess computer/technical skills (Google Suite Microsoft Programs corrective action software)
• Individuals with mechanical aptitude are strongly encouraged to apply
  

To be successful in the role you will have:

• EHS Consultant must have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience with construction safety management integrated risk management and contractor safety management
• BS degree in Safety Engineering Construction Management or related degrees preferred.
• Construction Safety Professional (CSP) preferred
• Knowledge of applicable regional and country health and safety regulations (OSHA)
• Supervised projects with a minimum headcount of 1000 persons
• OSHA 30 hour certification
• Current First Aid/CPR certification
• Selfdriven individual
• Demonstrates Construction Safety expertise
• Ability to partner with team members and contractors to implement change.
• Industry knowledge to understand the design and deployment of technical process electrical and mechanical systems as related to pharma construction processes.
• Experience in a cGMP or equivalent environment with strict quality standards.
• Working knowledge of Enablon or relevant reporting system
• Experience in the pharmaceutical construction industry in US
• Certification preferred but not mandatory (CSP CHST)
• Enthusiastic about joining a team and advancing professionally
• Public speaking skills are strongly desired
• Have a desire to grow within the EHS field
• Experience as a Construction EHS Owner Representative is appreciated

The salary for this position can range from $80000 $111000 annually; actual compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to the candidates competencies level of experience education location divisional budget and internal peer compensation comparisons.
