This position is based in Plano TX. Successful candidates must live in Texas and Toyota encourages all team members to live within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned work location. Toyota Fleet Team is looking for a highly motivated and passionate Fleet Operations and Customer Support intern. The skills you acquire will be invaluable for your career with Toyota.
The primary responsibility of this role requires you to interface with Toyota Fleet customers including Fleet Management Companies and their customers dealership personnel as well as Fleet Customer Support and IT team members. Support requested includes but is not limited to addressing customer inquiries reviewing Fleet ID applications analyzing potential customer data and supporting IT projects.
This position provides an excellent overall foundation for team members with particular emphasis in the areas Fleet sales and customer support and will allow for increased understanding of Fleet sales contribution to the Toyota brand.

What youll be doing
Toyota Fleet Internship Program provides college students with exposure to the automotive industry while working in a corporate environment in our facilities in Plano Texas.
- During the internship you will onboard for 12 weeks to better understand the tools and resources to begin engaging with Fleet customers and their inquiries
- The remaining 1011 weeks you will be expected to complete various operations tasks as noted above including:
- Processing Fleet ID requests from SalesForce cases as well as urgent sameday requests.
- Researching customers UIO company location and websites.
- MSO mailing for all Fleet customers.
- Monitor Customer Support emails and create Sales Force cases.
- Toyota vehicles policies products and services communications problemsolving and customer satisfaction as it pertains to Fleet sales and operations
- Expected to evaluate customer inquiries/concerns and determine the appropriate action to positively impact owner satisfaction and retention
- As an Intern your overall mission is to Build Lifetime Advocates for Toyota
- Support the departments objective to provide worldclass customer service to Toyota owners and future buyers
- Willing to provide support to other Fleet sales programs should the need arise
What the Internship schedule will look like:
- One week of handson training.
- MondayFriday in office from 74pm or 85pm
Qualifications:
- Strong followup skills
- Computer skills Excel SalesForce and comfortable learning new systems
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with crossfunctional groups
- Strong customer service mindset
Toyota College Programs Eligibility:
- Currently enrolled in a fulltime accredited bachelors degree program (or higher) studying: Finance Business Engineering Technology or equivalent (required)
- Available to work fulltime during theSummer 2025 term
- GPA of 2.7 or higher
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Lawful unlimited authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now and in the future
- Reliable transportation as you may be traveling among our various facilities
