About the role

An opportunity has arisen in our Perth office for a CareerParalegal to join our Government team on a permanent fulltimebasis. Whilst the primary focus of the work is on NDIA and meritsreview matters the team also handle claims for compensation in theFederal jurisdiction. In this supportive and friendly team youwill play an integral part in assisting to progress matters whilstreceiving ongoing mentoring from a Partner a Special Counsel andthe broader team members.

This busy role will include but not be limited to thefollowing responsibilities:

• Preparing chronologies
• Collating briefs to Counsel
• Preparation of court documents
• Preparation of mediation bundles and document indexes
• Preparation of medical authorities and follow up of records
• Legal Research and legal summaries
• Discovery
• Document analysis
• Compilation of enclosures
• Drafting letters of instruction
• Responding to enquiries
• General administrative duties

About you

To be successful in this role you will be an experiencedParalegal who is looking for a longterm and stable position in asupportive and friendly environment. Ideally you will haveexperience in litigation and be excited at the prospect of takinga handson approach to assisting our lawyers in managing theirmatters. Were looking for someone who values client careand being part of a collaborative team. Some of the other qualitieswe are seeking include:
