VP Alternative Investor Relations

The VP Investor Relations role supports the existing business and growth objectives of Energy Infrastructure Credit (EIC) a multibilliondollar investment platform which is a strategic initiative of Nuveen. The primary role is to ensure the business is well positioned to meet the substantial growing investor demand for infrastructure private credit opportunities. This role supports existing and future investors various investment product rollouts and the syndication process for coinvestments. The VP IR is expected to have experience in private credit alternative investment strategies with a preference for knowledge of sustainable and/or traditional energy or power.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Support the EIC Investment Strategist in working closely with Nuveen distribution and product teams with the rollout of investment strategies for EIC. This includes drafting education and marketing presentation materials in connection with fundraising initiatives and activities for EIC

• Support the EIC coinvestment process by: (i) working closely with Nuveen distribution to track and manage outreach and Q&A and (ii) working with Nuveen product legal and client services on transaction process and documentation. Familiarity with coinvestment syndication process and various structures for client access is necessary

• Responsible for prompt responses to existing and potential investor information requests and LP communication materials i.e. RFPs Q&A documents quarterly portfolio reports for investors existing portfolio data requests

• Work collaboratively with EIC investment team on materials for external use i.e. gathering information and preparing investor materials in support of fundraising and coinvestment process investment updates market updates etc.

• Participate in client or prospective calls and presentations in order to support the EIC Investment Strategist Nuveen distribution and institutional clients

• Experience and facility with various vehicles to access alternative investment(s): funds fund of one SMA Rate Note Feeder etc.

• Ability to successfully work independently and parallel process projects with general supervision

Qualifications

• 3 years of investor relations experience in alternatives required
• 5 years of investor relations experience in alternatives highly preferred
• Experience in private credit alternative investment strategies with a preference for knowledge of sustainable and/or traditional energy or power
• Experience and facility with various vehicles to access alternative investment(s): funds fund of one SMA Rate Note Feeder etc.
• Selfstarter with strong interpersonal and communication skills high attention to detail and superior organization capabilities
• Ability to successfully work independently and parallel process projects with general supervision

Anticipated Posting End Date:

Actual base salary may vary based upon but not limited to relevant experience time in role base salary of internal peers prior performance business sector and geographic location. In addition to base salary the competitive compensation package may include depending on the role participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example annual discretionary incentive programs nonannual sales incentive plans or other nonannual incentive plans).
