Job Description

1. Graduation from high school or equivalent preferred. 2. Graduation from a nursing assistant program 3. Basic computer skills required. MUST be Certified as a Nursing Assistant. Experience preferred.1. Demonstrates knowledge of patient care needs. Follows the rehabilitation plan as directed. 2. Provides physical care toileting bed bath oral hygiene grooming back care dressing changing bed linen cleaning over bed and bedside table and straightening room. 3. Provides other general care positioning lifting and turning patients applying/utilizing special and adaptive equipment assists with bedpan urinal or commode ambulation skin care compresses unsterile dressing. 4. Takes and records temperatures pulse respiration weight height blood pressure and intake and output routinely and accurately. 5. Promptly answers patient call lights anticipates patients needs and make rounds to assigned patients. 6. Documents all patient care given appropriately and in a timely fashion. Reports any changes in observed condition behavior or unusual incident. 7. Assists the patients with bowel and bladder programs. 8. Prepares patients for meals follows feeding programs as directed. 9. Routinely takes additional tasks when his/her assignment is completed. 10.
