We are looking for a motivated DevOps Coop to join our engineering team and gain handson experience in cloud infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines. This role will allow you to work closely with experienced DevOps engineers software developers and IT teams to help improve the reliability scalability and security of our systems.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and automating cloud infrastructure (AWS Azure or GCP).
- Work with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitHub Actions GitLab CI etc. to streamline software deployments.
- Support containerization and orchestration efforts using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance logs and security incidents.
- Write scripts and automation tools in Python Bash or Terraform to improve workflow efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and infrastructure reliability.
- Participate in infrastructure as code (IaC) development and configuration management.
- Document processes configurations and best practices for internal use.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Computer Science Software Engineering or related program.
- Understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) is a plus.
- Basic experience with scripting languages (Python Bash etc..
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD concepts.
- Exposure to containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Strong problemsolving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
