Your Focus
At VELUX we are on a journey to optimize our procurement processes enhance compliance and drive digital transformation. As our new Manager for Digital Procurement and Process Excellence you will significantly contribute to the development of VELUXs procurement process and digital landscape. You will report to Senior Director Procurement Excellence & ESG and you will be supervising a team of process experts business analysts and project managers. You will collaborate with stakeholders across Global Procurement IT Procurement Operations and Finance to coordinate process efficiencies ensure compliance and implement innovative digital solutions.
Your responsibilities
- Managing a team of specialists to handle the endtoend sourcetopay process ensuring efficiency compliance and continuous improvement
- Driving process excellence by optimizing procurement processes and policies across the organization. Exploring and deploying best practices within master data sourcing tocontract requisitiontopay process driving process design as per requirements and needs specified by business owners
- Owning and developing the digital procurement system strategy acting as a bridge between IT and business teams and overseeing system implementation projects such as the current rollout of a guided buying system ensuring alignment with procurement policies and compliance objectives
- Developing and promoting analytics solutions identifying opportunities to enhance datadriven decisionmaking in procurement with high focus on ESG analytics performance and opportunity analytics
- Exploring new digital solutions for procurement analytics and operations ensuring continuous innovation and efficiency. Defining specifications for future systems and cooperating with IT to source configure test and deploy the systems
- Managing key stakeholders ensuring alignment between procurement teams finance and IT
Our requirements
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in procurement procurement excellence process ownership or a similar role
- Solid knowledge of procurement processes and systems; experience with procurement suites (e.g. Ariba Coupa or similar) is beneficial
- Experienced leadership with the ability to inspire and manage teams effectively
- Effective stakeholder management skills with experience in working across functions in an international setting
- Skilled in reasoned analysis and progressive thinking with an aim to streamline processes effectively
- Skilled in communication and interpersonal relations with the ability to influence and implement change. You should expect occasional travel across Europe
- Minimum bachelors degree from a University or Business school
