A partner hospital is seeking a fulltime Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its dynamic team in Greenwood IN. This is an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian with a passion for emergency medicine and a desire to provide highquality care in a fastpaced supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have a DVM degree and experience in emergency or urgent care medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide urgent care services to animals in need of immediate medical attention.
- Diagnose and treat illnesses injuries and other medical conditions.
- Administer medications fluids and other treatments as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their pets health and treatment plans.
Ideal Candidate:
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMAaccredited veterinary college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
- 12 years of experience in emergency medicine is preferred though new graduates with a passion for urgent care are encouraged to apply.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to handle multiple patients with varying priorities in a fastpaced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a veterinary team.
