Job Description
Senior Financial Analyst Surety
Position Summary:
This is a Senior Financial Analyst Position that reports into the Surety Divisional Financial Officer and the role requires advanced financial and data analysis skills.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly production metrics reports for Surety Management
- Prepare indepth Expense Analysis
- Assist with Quarterly Close Analysis and Presentation
- Data replication and dashboard development for monthly quarterly and annual reporting
- Knowledge of key external financial data sets
- Surety System Integration Support
- Assist in Identifying Data Quality Issues
- Provide Compliance Reporting as required
- Handle adhoc report generation requests from Product Lines and the Field
Qualifications
- 35 years relevant work experience
- Bachelors Degree in Finance Data Analytics Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration or a related field.
- Knowledge of analyzing datasets using advanced Excel analytical tools
- 13 years experience with knowledge of SQL UNIX Qlik Sense R & Python
- Analytical skills with the ability to collect organize analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Works successfully in a team environment and independently with the ability to quickly adapt to change.
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Proactive selfmotivated and detail oriented
- Solid problem solving decision making and analytical skills
- Ability to organize plan and implement work assignments juggle competing demands and work under pressure of frequent and tight deadlines
