The Ballarat Prepared Foods Plant is looking for a Shift Supervisor to join the Frontline Leadership team.
The position is a great opportunity to showcase your leadership skills while thriving in this exciting manufacturing environment.
Our 24/6 operation runs over three fixed shift patternsday afternoon and night. Were looking for a Shift Supervisor with the flexibility to work one of these shifts.
Accountabilities:
- Champion coach and improve H&S culture and ensuring compliance within your team.
- Take a hands on approach to developing a strong production team leading the team through positive role modelling and influence.
- Have a working knowledge of cost and create opportunities to improve direct cost and overhead results.
- Be completely immersed in MDI and provide the leadership that the team requires to implement and sustain improvements.
- Accountability for food safety and quality specification requirements of all production from the shift.
Qualifications:
- Relevant industry and leadership qualifications and experience
- Experience with Manufacturing Processes Safety GMP HACCP Environment and Quality Systems
- Verifiable mathematical and mechanical aptitude.
- Demonstrated computer literacy and knowledge of computer applications (SAP Microsoft Windows).
Skills:
- Good people and communication skills across multiple departments and all levels of personnel.
- Good problemsolving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and follow documentation and comply with an employers policies procedures and codes
- Demonstrated ability as a team player with good organisational people and communication skills.
- Demonstrated flexibility to meet operational demands
