Job Description

FirstLine Product & Services Quality Manager

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking First Line Product & Services Quality Managers to support the Interiors Responsibility Center (IRCSC) in North Charleston South Carolina.

Position Responsibilities

  • Manages develops and motivates employees across multiple Quality Management Job Families.
  • Manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products services and processes comply with customer contract requirements engineering requirements company procedures and government regulations.
  • Successfully implements solutions in an everevolving environment by relying on problemsolving data and analysis to drive decisions.
  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
  • Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
  • Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners suppliers and direct reports.

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • 3 years leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role.
  • 3 years in Aerospace Manufacturing Quality or experience in a regulated industry
  • 3 years in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA).
  • Ability to work on the production floor supporting onproduct conformance determinations.
  • Ability to travel occasionally as needed.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • 3 years in a productionrelated discipline such as Manufacturing Quality Production Engineering Supplier Management and/or Supplier Quality.
  • 3 years working with crossfunctional leadership doing collaborative problem solving while building lasting relationships.
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems (e.g. AS9100.
  • Experience working to safety quality delivery & cost commitments
  • Precision in written and verbal communication.
  • Bachelors degree.
