The Manager GTB Finance Global P&Ls primary mandate is to leverage analytics business acumen and interpersonal relationships to consolidate communicate rationalize and challenge the business plans and results of the Global Transaction Banking business franchise globally. The role requires extensive analytical capability with exceptional excel skills and comfort with large data sets as well as a refined communicative skillset to easily articulate complex results from analytical exercises.

The Manager will be highly analytical and passionate about data working with complex databases and diving into ambiguous sources of information with the goal of creating comprehensive and meaningful messages for management. This role is focused primarily on P&L and deposit reporting in alignment with business line partners and countries across the footprint however the manager will be expected to contribute to expense management functions and reporting provide coverage to the wider team as a support resource and be flexible in realignment of their mandate with the growing complexity and expanding mandate of GTB Finance.

Is this role right for you In this role you will:

  • Monthly Results Reporting: Work with the team on monthly P&L results reporting for executive management (Monthly Management Report Quarterly Management Report Expense Reporting and other ad hoc requests as required).
  • Variance Analytics: Review monthly and quarterly results (balances revenues and expenses) highlight key variances to management and proactively work with GTB product and business representatives to identify drivers.
  • Consolidation of Global GTB Business Plan: Support the team in facilitating Global Transaction Bankings business plan consolidation including Deposits Net Interest Income Non Interest Revenue and Expenses. This includes annual planning and forecasting 5 year plans and initiative business plans.
  • Business Case Reviews: Assist the Director in the analysis and review of costing and benefit proposals for business cases and ensure Business Case Tools reflect GTBs business narrative for projects.
  • Revenue Business Line Allocations: Support Global Transaction Banking in its continuous review of revenue and expense allocation to business lines.
  • Business Line Alignment: Leverage relationships with BL partners to ensure GTB specific reporting within each business line is representative of GTBs defined mandate and that all reporting is aligned to the GTB Finance view of the business.
  • Regulatory/ Compliance: Strengthen the risk culture and internal controls: Recommend internal controls for expenses change management to minimize financial and reputational risk.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role Wed love to work with you if you have:

  • Undergraduate degree in Mathematics Finance Economics and/or Applied Science
  • 4 7 years experience in finance consulting or a relevant field.
  • The role requires advanced skills in data analytics and exceptional excel skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills; Spanish fluency an asset.
  • Knowledge of business accounts payments & cash management products and related business processes beneficial.
  • Graduate degree or financial designation (CFA CTP) beneficial.
