Job Skills / Requirements
Guardteck Security is looking for a FullTime Security Assistant Supervisor in Victoria BC. You will be working with one of the bestmanaged security companies in Western Canada. Successful candidates will demonstrate exceptional skills in customer service effective problemsolving and decisionmaking.
Wage: $2528/hour
Reporting directly to the Security Manager the Security Assistant Supervisor will:
- Assist with all security operations on site.
- Provide leadership to the team of the security professionals on site.
- Ensure the sitespecific operation procedures are up to date.
- Ensure tasks are completed in an efficient manner.
- Audit security work and interactions with customers on an ongoing basis.
- Proactively mentor and train employees and provide regular feedback.
- Assist with employee rewards and appreciation program.
- Help manage scheduling.
- Operate applicable software and onsite equipment.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Communicate with the site manager
- Exercise good judgment and make decisions that benefit the customer and the property.
- Become part of the team and make yourself a key part of the customers success.
What you should have:
- Valid BC Security License (BST)
- Valid OFA1
- Valid AST
- At least 3 years of leadership experience within the security industry
- Proven leadership and people management track record
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Experience in providing exceptional customer service
- Experience with handling emergency situations while remaining calm
- Experience in working in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
