Job Responsibilities:
As a Software Architect you will be responsible for the technical direction and design vision of software components services and applications. You will ensure that architectures are scalable maintainable and aligned with the longterm technology strategy of the Platform team.For this position we are looking for a candidate with strong software architecture experience with a special focus on scalable distributed systems cloudnative architectures and DevOps best practices. This includes designing and implementing highperformance backend systems ensuring robust security and observability and driving best practices in CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
Main Duties
Architect and Design Systems Define design and document scalable and maintainable software architectures that align with
business needs.
Scalability & Performance Ensure high availability fault tolerance and optimal performance of platform services.
Cloud & Infrastructure Lead cloudnative architecture design and best practices across AWS GCP or Azure environments.
CI/CD & DevOps Establish and enforce best practices for continuous integration testing and automated deployments.
Security & Reliability Integrate security observability and reliability into all software architectures.
CrossTeam Collaboration Work closely with engineers DevOps and product teams to translate business requirements into
technical solutions.
Technical Leadership Provide guidance on architectural decisions mentor engineers and promote coding best practices.
Code Reviews & Standards Maintain high code quality through rigorous code reviews and architectural governance.
Technology Evaluation Assess emerging technologies and provide recommendations for adoption within the platform ecosystem.
Qualifications
3 years of experience in software development and architecture with a strong focus on backend systems.
Proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable distributed systems.
Handson experience with microservices architecture eventdriven systems and cloud platforms (AWS GCP or Azure).
Strong understanding of databases (SQL NoSQL caching strategies data modeling).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (Terraform Kubernetes Docker).
Deep knowledge of security best practices including authentication authorization and encryption techniques.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systemlevel issues.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey architectural decisions to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Datadog Prometheus OpenTelemetry).
Familiarity with message queues and eventdriven architectures (Kafka RabbitMQ Pub/Sub).
Previous experience in multitenant SaaS environments.
Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineering teams
