Job Description
Senior Product Manager Lending
We are looking for a Lending Product Manager with a strong product background who is passionate about driving innovation and delivering impactful business solutions in the financial sector. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to lead a team collaborate with senior stakeholders and take a project from concept to market.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in financial product management with experience in credit risk assessment and underwriting and a proven ability to develop compliant customerfocused lending solutions. In addition you must have advanced knowledge of new AI technologies and be ready to integrate innovative AIdriven approaches into our lending strategies.
The role
- The Lending Product Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing a strategic new project. Working closely with the CoFounder/Senior Managing Director Chief Operating Officer Chief Technology Officer and other senior executives you will define business objectives translate user requirements and develop actionable plans to bring the project from ideation to a viable marketready solution.
- You will also manage a small team of engineers and product specialists providing mentorship and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- This role is ideally suited for someone who thrives in an unstructured environment has experience in building a company from the ground up and can balance multiple priorities while wearing many hats.

- Leadership: Oversee the development and of the project strategy guiding the initiative from conceptualisation to delivery.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a small team of engineers and product specialists ensuring effective collaboration and timely of tasks.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal business units and senior leadership to fully understand business needs ensuring the project aligns with OakNorths strategic goals.
- Roadmap Development: Define clear objectives and success metrics translating business requirements into detailed user stories and actionable plans.
- Effective Communication: Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and nontechnical stakeholders ensuring seamless communication on project updates and key decisions.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks early and implement strategies to mitigate them throughout the project lifecycle.
- Adaptability: Thrive in a dynamic fastpaced environment remaining flexible and responsive to evolving needs and priorities.
- Entrepreneurial Approach: Bring a creative problemsolving mindset to development continuously exploring innovative ways to create value for the business.
Qualifications
- Experience: Between 4 and 8 years of experience in product management with handson experience in a small team that built a company from the ground up. Proven track record of taking projects from concept to market readiness is essential.
- Product Background: Demonstrable experience in a productdriven setting with the ability to translate business needs into actionable strategies and solutions especially in financial product management.
- Specialist Knowledge: A strong background in credit risk assessment and underwriting with proven ability to develop compliant customerfocused lending solutions.
- Advanced AI Technologies: Required deep knowledge and handson experience with new AI technologies and the ability to leverage these tools to drive innovation and optimize lending strategies. Your expertise in AI will be critical in integrating datadriven decisionmaking and automation into our product offerings.
