Job Description
Responsibilities:
Prepare cost estimates for construction projects
Conduct feasibility studies and provide cost analysis
Prepare and negotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers
Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction process
Prepare and submit progress reports to clients and project managers
Assist with the procurement of materials and services
Provide advice on cost planning and value engineering
Prepare bills of quantities and tender documents
Assess and certify payments to contractors
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant Quantity Surveying software
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of local building regulations and codes
