Key Responsibilities:

KBR is looking for an engineer to provide an advisor to support multiple aspects of Government programsacquisitionefforts. This role will include:

  • SOW: Writingthe Statement of Work for upcoming acquisitions
  • Acquisition: Defining proposal acceptance criteria monitoring developers cost schedule and performance during reviewing CDRLs and providing innovativeacquisitionrecommendations to solve challenging issues with the optimal courses of action.
  • Oversight: Overseeing contract and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)
  • Performance: AdvisingContractingOfficer (CO) and ContractingOfficerTechnical Representative (COTR) on developer performance through cost schedule andperformance analysisand evaluation
  • Technical: Identifying risks and providing unique courses of action to solve complex technical problems
  • Accuracy: Reviewing contractor submissions for technical accuracy and providing government personnel detailedcritical analysis
  • Compliance: Assist with contract compliance assessments

Work Environment:

  • Location: Onsite
  • Travel Requirements: Minimal
  • Working Hours: Standard

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Clearance: Must possess and be able to maintain an active TS/SCI with Poly
  • Education: BS/BA 18years or MS/MA 15 years or PhD and 12 years
  • Support: More than 15 years of experience focusing onacquisitionsupport (structure of contracts of task orders and fixed price contracts the government competitiveacquisitionprocess)
  • DOD/IC: Experience with DoD/IC acquisitions including source selections on MajorSystem Acquisition
  • Systems: Familiarity with GEOINT systems
  • Process: Experience withSystems Engineering processesacross the development life cycle
  • Policy: Familiarity with IC and DoD Acquisition regulations and policies
  • Mentor: Ability to mentor junior contractors and Government team members
  • Reporting: Track and report progress at multiple levels of Contractor and Government leadership

Desired:

  • Tools: Familiarity usingConfluenceandJIRAAtlassiancommercial tools
  • Methodologies: Experience or training withScaled Agile Framework(SAFe)agile methodologies
  • Project Management: PMI PMP or DAWIA Level 3 certification. Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Program Management Level III
