If you are looking for an opportunity to grow Emerson has an opening for you as a Business Development Manager for Flexim product line.

The Business Development Manager will drive the growth of Emerson products in the Nordics acting as the main contact for the Business Unit and the factories and working closely with the sales engineers. You will be responsible foridentifying and pursuing new business opportunities and how they can address customer needs. In coordination with the Account Managers your will engage with experts and decision makers in our customers organization positioning the value of our offering and will take ownership of the pursuit of the identified business opportunities.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Opportunity Identification and Creation: Identify or create and pursue new business opportunities for the assigned products or solutions both independently and in collaboration with account managers
  • Establish facetofacecontact with key and new customers to build strong relationships gather key salesrelated information understand their needs and discuss their concerns plans and purchasing criteria
  • Customer Engagement: Act as a counterpart for customers subject matter experts and coordinate with account managers to ensure relationships are established with the necessary stakeholders. Own the technical discussion with customers experts and enable the selling process with customer presentations providing expert knowledge and insights into how our products can solve customer issues
  • Product Expertise: Develop and maintain an indepth understanding of our product offerings and how they can address customer needs and challenges
  • Inside Sales: Support and follow up on Emerson solutions quotes assisting in instrument selection and sizing when necessary
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends market conditions and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and keep our offerings competitive
  • Customer Feedback: Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product development and improve our solutions and services
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all activities opportunities and project progress in CRM systems

Who You Are:

You identify and seize new opportunities. You effectively communicate in various settings: oneonone small and large groups or among diverse styles and position levels. You build and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations and you establish and maintain effective customer relationships.

For This Role You Will Need:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering or technical discipline
  • A minimum of five 5 years of industry experience
  • Proven experience with Flexim or similar flow measurement systems and flow measurement expertise requirements is highly desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English and another Nordic language (Swedish Norwegian Finnish and Danish)
  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment strong initiative and decisionmaking capabilities
  • Proven understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite in particular Word Excel Power Point
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 50

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Prior Business Development experience
  • Maintain the proper focus and be persistent to introduce new products and services to our customers expanding our portfolio to unseat competitive offerings
