Job Description

Associate or Experienced Product Acceptance Specialist (Level B or C) (Variable Shift)

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking an Associate or Experienced Product Acceptance Specialist (Level B or C) to join the Interiors Responsibility Center (IRC) Quality Team inNorth Charleston South Carolina on a Variable Shift!

Position Responsibilities

  • Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements.
  • Provides objective evidence of results.
  • Performs auditing surveillance and monitoring.
  • Identifies and documents discrepancies.
  • Segregates and controls nonconforming items.
  • Performs preliminary review and disposition of nonconformance.
  • Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.
  • Identifies repetitive or significant nonconformances and initiates requests for corrective action.

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • Must be able to work any shift 1st 2nd or 3rd)
  • 1 years of Aerospace Fabrication or Manufacturing experience
  • 1 years of experience in quality inspection and/or auditing
  • Must be able to walk up/downstairs and bend/stoop frequently

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience identifying engineering characteristics on product and utilizing calibrated equipment to measure and report results
  • 787 Program Experience
  • Experience in a team environment
  • Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience

Typical Education & Experience

Associate (Level B): Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

Experienced (Level C): Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate2 years related work Bachelor etc..
