Summary
About usCristbal Balenciaga founded the House in 1917 in his home of Spain. In 1937 he established the brand in Paris designing its collections there until 1968. Cristbal Balenciaga had a reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards and was referred to as the master of us all by Christian Dior and as The Couturier of the Couturiers by Gabrielle Chanel. The ultramodern shapes were trademarks of the house. While the brands identity is firmly rooted in its highly conceptual prtporter collections its leather goods footwear and accessories experience worldwide success as well. Among the archetypal products of the House are its handbag collections. A new focus on the development of Balenciaga readytowear collections for men was quickly established as highly successful. Since October 2015 Demna has designed both mens and womens collections as the artistic director. The Balenciaga House part of the Kering group since 2001 is one of the most influential names in fashion.
Job Description
BALENCIAGA RTW Sales Merchandiser H/F
We are currently in search of a RTW Sales Merchandiser to support the Ready to Wear Merchandising activities. Reporting to the RTW Sales Merchandising Manager you will play a key role in delivering the upcoming RTW collection strategy.
Your opportunity
As RTW Sales Merchandiser you support the management of the RTW and special projects collections overseeing exclusive product launches through OTB set up project implementation follow up with production and distribution and collection of feedbacks from the region and will participate to the central WW merchandising team in the regular annual activities: seasonal buying inventory management sales analysis auto replenishment strategy and following up on regional needs.
How you will contribute
Analyze product performance in stores using qualitative and quantitative data optimize stock and participate in monthly Retail reviews to understand the sales performance.
Define product assortments recommend strategies based on store typology and global strategy contribute to Retail buying processes and manage worldwide bulk orders.
Liaise with various departments (Collection Merchandising Demand Planning Commercial Visual Merchandising Training Retail Excellence Communication) on product launch strategies instore assortments and communication plans ensuring alignment and effective implementation.
Who you are
A professional with a first experience within Retail/Sales Merchandising.
An industry specialist with sound knowledge of the current market and consumer trends excellent product sensitivity analytical and numeracy skills.
A highly organized individual with ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment fluent in French and English.
