Natureplex a leading OTC pharmaceutical company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Engineering Manager to join our rapidly growing team. We specialize in producing highquality ointments creams liquids and electrolyte beverages and are committed to delivering safe and effective products while adhering to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment including highspeed packaging equipment such as cartoning machines tube filling machines liquid filling machines and shrink sleeve applicating machines.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
Lead a team of maintenance technicians providing guidance training and support to enhance their skills and performance.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve equipment issues promptly.
Manage maintenance budgets and resources effectively to ensure costefficient operations.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all maintenance activities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and equipment reliability

Essential Functions
Leadership and Team Management:
Lead mentor and develop a team of technicians fabricators and maintenance supervisors.
Foster a culture of safety teamwork and continuous improvement within the maintenance department.
Maintenance Strategy Development:
Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy that includes preventive predictive and corrective maintenance programs.
Establish maintenance KPIs and metrics to monitor performance and drive improvements.
Equipment Reliability:
Ensure the reliability and availability of all manufacturing equipment including liquid filling packaging and tube filling machinery.
Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with industry regulations safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure that maintenance procedures and documentation meet regulatory requirements.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage the maintenance budget ensuring costeffective use of resources while maintaining high standards of equipment performance.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in maintenance operations.
Project Management:
Oversee maintenance projects including equipment upgrades installations and facility improvements.
Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
Identify and reduce or eliminate bottlenecks in manufacturing processes.
Training and Development:
Identify training needs for maintenance staff and facilitate training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in maintenance technologies and practices.

Required Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical Electrical Industrial or related field) or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 57 years of experience in maintenance management. Food and Beverage and/or highspeed packaging is a plus.
Familiarity with liquid filling packaging and tube filling processes is highly desirable.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
Excellent problemsolving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
