Bachelors degree or equivalent 5 years in Information systems
At least 5 years of experience managing other technical staff or projects
Technical Enterprise project experience
ITIL Certification preferred
Experience with Meditech Application Maintenance and Support
Experience with Vendor Relationship Management
Extensive experience with meeting facilitation and collaboration
Extensive use of desktop windows operating systems and MS Office: Visio
and Outlook email.

General Overview/Summary
The TSO (Technical Services and Operations) Service Transition and Operations Teams works closely with the Server Support Teams Storage Teams Technology Planning Systems Development Network Services and Operations as well as various working groups and customers in the organization to continue the evolution of the Partners infrastructure. The team is responsible for continuously modernizing the infrastructure and producing project plans installation & support documentation planning & managing initial deployments training 3rd level support and vendor management for serverbased products.
We assist our customers/hospital sites navigate the above IT Departments and assist them in getting their needs met. Aside from helping bridge the gap between the Hospital Entities and IT Infrastructure we also have a Project Specialist (Project Manager) who manage IT Infrastructure Projects for the department as well as across Partners Sites.
The role also includes managing various projects and includes facilitating the Meditech Governance Council meeting/minutes; and being a central point of contact for the various vendors involved in its support (i.e. Park Place Meditech & Bridgehead).
The TSO Project Specialist will be responsible for delivery of medium to large complex projects across our IS Infrastructure teams. This Project Specialist will balance and manage project scope goals and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders; develop maintain and manage project plans and associated communications documents; identify and manage project dependencies and critical path work; and plan schedule and track project timelines and milestones Microsoft Project and other appropriate tools. The Project Specialist coordinates resources assigned to tasks on their plans reviews/evaluates resource work and prepares project status reports to stakeholders. The Project Specialist confers with and advises resources on project and technical policies and procedures coordinates technical problems if they arise during project implementation. The Project Specialist facilitates and manages conflicting priorities with project stakeholders. The Project Specialist prepares operational cost estimates and budgets for current and proposed projects. Evaluates vendor proposals for the purchase of hardware. Participates in prioritizing programs projects and longrange support planning for IT Services as it relates to our corporate mission. Participates in overall team project management and other responsibilities as assigned including coordination of efforts within Partners and affiliate hospitals (when needed).

Facilitate Meditech Governance Council and communicate updates to Members
Meditech Vendor Single Point of Contact
Project management emphasizing technical integration within the Partners environment
Review of project requests to coordinate schedules and related team activities.
