Job Title: Quotation and Bidding Executive
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated and detailoriented individual to join our team as a Quotation and Bidding Executive. The Quotation and Bidding Executive will play a critical role in preparing and managing quotations bids and proposals for potential projects or contracts. This position requires strong analytical skills attention to detail and effective communication to ensure accurate and competitive bids that meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze project specifications requirements and scope to determine the necessary materials resources and costs involved.
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations bids and proposals in response to customer inquiries or tender invitations.
- Coordinate with internal teams including sales engineering procurement and finance to gather necessary information and ensure alignment on pricing and terms.
- Conduct research on market trends competitor offerings and industry benchmarks to inform pricing strategies and improve competitiveness.
- Review and evaluate contractual terms conditions and requirements to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Maintain a database of pricing information historical data and bid documentation for reference and analysis.
- Collaborate with sales and business development teams to understand customer needs and tailor proposals to address specific requirements.
- Manage the bid submission process including timely delivery of bids adherence to deadlines and followup on bid outcomes.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders such as suppliers subcontractors and partners to obtain pricing and support for bid submissions.
- Provide support and guidance to other team members involved in the bidding process as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in quotation preparation bidding processes or sales support roles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical specifications and financial data.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing quotations and bids.
- Knowledge of procurement processes contract management and pricing strategies is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment.
