Overview
Executes stock trades within area guidelines. Ensures that each trade is handled equitably and settled properly. Monitors securities prices and communicates them to portfolio managers when necessary. Conducts trading with sufficient speed and accuracy to successfully process the order flow. Uses prescribed guidelines or policies in analyzing situations.
Major Duties:
Executes equity and fixed income trades with minimal market impact.
Ensures that trade orders are executed fairly and equitably (e.g. prompt without bias toward originating source).
Apprises portfolio managers and other appropriate parties of relevant information affecting securities prices (e.g. trading volume etc..
Ensures that trades settle properly.
Maintains daily broker contact to conduct equity and fixed income trading.
Responds to client and partner inquiries with a differentiated service level.
Continue to enhance knowledge of markets and tools provided to execute.
Identify areas of risk and opportunities to drive scalable solutions for the business.
Knowledge:
Series 7 57 and 63 license required
Python knowledge a plus.
Experience with institutional equities fixed income and options trading.
Knowledge of pretrade and posttrade transaction cost analytics.
Knowledge of investments including terminology instruments general industry practices market structure techniques regulatory environment and relevant securities laws to ensure proper trade . Knowledge of the context in which trading activity occurs (i.e. favorable and unfavorable effects of various transactions on stock price etc..
Ability to respond to market events and make quick decisions.
Experience: A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience; participation in certification programs as dedicated per region preferred.
Salary Range:
$USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
