Job Description

SUMMARY:


Directs the academic and device training schedules of all devices and students for formal course training syllabi and refresher training.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the development coordination publishing and distribution of long range midrange and daily definitive comprehensive training schedules that integrates the academic the device trainers and the flying training.
Responsible for ensuring maximum training efficiency and no syllabus deviations.
Synchronizes the formal course training requirements of all the syllabi with the continuation training needs of the local and off station flying training squadron(s).
Coordinates the daytoday academic and device training based on classroom instructor and device availability along with student/instructor pilot/loadmaster availability and student progression.
Attends required weekly scheduling meetings and provides monthly scheduling inputs for the monthly status reports.
Coordinates with registrars for new student requirements.
Performs other additional duties as directed by the Site Manager.
Other duties as assigned.
Compliance with all company Information Systems security policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associates Degree (A.S. in related field and at least Five 5 or more years of administrative experience.
Four 4 years of previous GTIMS/TMS or scheduling experience may be substituted for degree requirements. Previous ATS highly desired.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read analyze and interpret common professional literature. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to management and colleagues.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to comprehend and apply basic mathematical skills.

COMPUTER SKILLS:
Basic understanding of computer operating systems and basic network skills

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

CITIZENSHIP:
U.S. Citizenship. Must be able to obtain a Secret Level Clearance

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Experienced and proficient in the use of standard Personal Computer productivity software tools including word processors spreadsheets presentation graphics project management and databases.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles electrical shock moving parts and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
The employee is occasionally required to work holidays weekends and odd shifts.
