It is a hub of activity events and collaborations bringing together women leaders and their allies to tackle the worlds greatest challenges.

Summary

We are seeking a temporary (through July 31 2025 dynamic detailoriented professional with experience managing complex international programs facilitating crosscultural training and working with diverse women social entrepreneurs for the position ofU.S. Program Manager. The Program Managers primary focus is leading the U.S. implementation of the WomenLeaders India Fellowship including oversight of virtual programming support for financial and administrative operations and strategic planning and of the Final InPerson Convening in India (June. The Program Manager works closely with teams in the U.S. and India manages trainers and mentors leads SDG project development efforts and plays a key role in program communications and reporting. This role reports directly to the Director Leadership & Social Impact (LSI).

Program Management & Implementation

  • Lead virtual program components including planning coordinating and facilitating webinars community gatherings and SDG pitch preparation sessions.
  • Manage and onboard U.S. and international trainers and mentors including contracting payments and communications.
  • Oversee the Social Entrepreneurship (SE) webinar track including trainer recruitment onboarding and content review.
  • Serve as colead for allcommon webinars with the Indiabased Program Manager and collaborate on session content flow and delivery.
  • Lead SDG project development support for fellows including designing and executing the SDG Pitch Competition during the final convening.
  • Collaborate with the Indiabased Program Manager and Project Lead to design finalize and implement the Final Convening agenda content and run of show.

Final Convening Planning & OntheGround Implementation

  • Lead U.S. side logistics for the inperson convening in India (June including planning speaker/trainer prep and internal VV staff travel logistics.
  • Coordinate travel and accommodation bookings for VV U.S. staff fellows trainers and speakers.
  • Collaborate with our implementing partner team in Indian on inperson communication strategies branding materials and promotional content.
  • Review and prepare training communications and MERL materials; coordinate packing and shipping for all printed and branded materials.
  • Onsite lead and support logistics speaker preparation materials distribution and SDG Pitch Competition .
  • Postconvening support program closeout including payments fellow followup survey implementation and storytelling.

Communications & Technology

  • Lead development and of the programs communications strategy including email and social media messaging toolkits and blog posts.
  • Manage all technology platforms related to program delivery (e.g. Zoom Airtable WhatsApp Dropbox etc. and ensure accessibility and smooth participant experience.
  • Coordinate postprogram social media campaigns program visibility and fellow spotlights in collaboration with communications teams.

Finance & Administration

  • Track program expenses and manage budget actuals in partnership with the Finance team and the Project Lead.
  • In the absence of a Program Assistant/Coordinator process U.S. and international vendor invoices expense reports and credit card reconciliations.
  • Prepare and process contracts and payment documentation for international (nonIndian) trainers speakers and VV network members.
  • Maintain uptodate records for monitoring evaluation and reporting purposes.

Monitoring Evaluation & Reporting

  • Collaborate with the MERL Specialist and program team to implement and analyze pre/post surveys and generate internal and external reports.
  • Document program impact best practices and lessons learned.
  • Draft highquality reports and updates for funders internal stakeholders and publicfacing content.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with fellows mentors trainers partners and internal VV stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with international partners demonstrating cultural humility and inclusive leadership.

Team Leadership & Intern Management

  • Support and mentor seasonal interns including leading onboarding and weekly checkins assigning tasks and providing professional development guidance.

Other Duties as Assigned

  • Provide additional crossteam support and lead or contribute to special projects aligned with organizational goals.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in international relations or a related field plus48 years of relevant work experience required
  • Demonstrated experience in global womens issues United Nation Sustainable Development Goals womens entrepreneurship womens leadershipand/or civil society
  • Experience with curriculum design and leading or facilitating training strongly preferred
  • Experience in India or South Asia is preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English
  • Ability to prioritize tasks swiftly shift priorities and work in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines sometimes under difficult or challenging circumstances
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team
  • Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and selfawareness
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office applications (esp. Excel Word and PowerPoint) social networking tools and database software (i.e. Salesforce)
  • Experience working crossfunctionally to support key objectives and to help team members

This position is a temporary fulltime exempt hybrid position based in Washington DC with two days of in person attendance at the Vital Voices Headquarters. If and when it is safe to travel domestic and international travel up to 20 may be for the position.

The starting salary range for this position is $80999 $111400based on experience and ability to have broad impact early.
