Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the installation and adjustments of substation:

Install maintain and repair solar PV systems:

Inverters wiring and panels

Switches circuit breakers CTs PTs transformer
installations

Terminations relay and communications

Cable pulling

Ensure installations meet all local state and
national electrical codes (NEC).

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical
components of solar systems.

Collaborate with team members to deliver quality
and timely installations.

Oversee apprentices and junior electricians on
solar installation and safety practices.

Perform system tests and inspections to ensure
functionality and safety.

Complete accurate documentation of work performed.

Qualifications:

Active Journeyman Electrician License.

Proven experience with solar PV systems.

Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).

Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.

Ability to read and interpret electrical
schematics and blueprints.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred:

Experience with both gridtied and offgrid solar
systems.

OSHA certification and familiarity with safety protocols
