Region Reliability Technician III
Location: Fresno CA

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Reliability Technician to join our team located in Fresno CA. The Reliability Technician will be responsible for the maintenance repair and performance of plant equipment and processes for the West Region. The reliability technician will also assist plant management in maintaining the integrity of their P&ID/PRV programs and periodic maintenance schedules. The Reliability Technician will occasionally be required to changeout or install fill systems and associated process piping. The Reliability Technician will lead the regions programs and equipment performance evaluations to improve the business ability to produce according to demand.

  • Pay range: $88875 $118500 yearly (commensurate with experience)

What you will be doing:

  • Serves as the onsite project manager and will oversee construction installation timelines etc.
  • Maintains troubleshoots repairs or supervises repairs as needed
  • process piping and controls equipment systems and components.
  • Writes PM schedules for plant equipment and maintains each sites PRV and P&ID programs.
  • Scratch installation of process piping including bending welding and brazing piping or tubing.
  • Completes MOC process for part and equipment replacements.
  • Follows procedures written manuals and actively executes scheduled work orders.
  • Evaluates process equipment for problem identification and recommends and/or implements solutions.Reliability of the equipment is critical to success.
  • Cleans and maintains work areas and equipment regularly to promote organization and reliability.
  • Conduct process reliability assessments and improvement plans.
  • Performs all duties safely to include operating a company vehicle
  • Experience with purchasing and procuring equipment
  • Accountable for delivering measurable results
  • Interprets and administers policies procedures and aligns tasks with business plans
  • Adapts plans and priorities to address resource challenges
  • Regularly interacts with a wide range of colleagues internal and external customers
  • Interacts regularly with subordinates and middle management: sometimes interacts with senior management
  • Other duties as assigned

What makes you great:

  • HS Degree or Equivalent
  • Technical degree or certification desired
  • Minimum 10 years experience working in plant environment with direct accountability for production equipment performance
  • Minimum 10 years experience managing people projects and vendors
  • Ability to purchase and procure equipment
  • Ability to read/create P&IDs
  • Ability to work in a highperformance work system with minimal to no supervision
  • Exposure to industrial PLC systems and the ability to learn about these systems.
  • Familiar with process analytical equipment and ability to creatively troubleshoot complex systems
  • Familiar with pressurized systems valves piping systems and their operation.
  • Ability to read and follow SDS Sheets
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Ability to read printed maintenance manuals and other literature in English is required
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills are required.Must have the ability to keep the end user informed of system status (verbally and in writing).
  • Welding certification desired
  • Trailer inspection certification desired
