Job Description
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Warehouse Manager within a food company based in Gauteng.
Responsibilities:
- Full leadership management and cost control of 3 shifts to deliver the business results.
- Full stock control always ensuring stock integrity.
- Correct operation ensuring maintenance are done and cover working of all MHE.
- Correct loading and offloading of all vehicles.
- Correct operation and Maintenance of Docks and Freezer equipment.
- Adherence Safety standards and operating procedures.
- Managing of all staff (leave absenteeism etc. and allocating of staff to complete workload.
- Communication with internal and external clients.
- Control of pallet movement.
- Control of bulk crate movement.
- Storage efficiencies.
- Transfer efficiencies.
- Stock movement recorded accurately.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 as minimum requirement with maths and science as subjects passed.
- Relevant qualification at NQF 6 Level (Warehouse Management Supply Chain Management).
- At least 5 years Cold Store Warehouse experience and distribution experience at managerial level.
- Cold chain management experience in the FMCG sector is an added advantage.
- Required to work shifts and weekends when needed.
- Computer Literacy MS (Word / Excel/PowerPoint)
