Veterinarian Exotics Specialist
Location: Calgary AB
CARE Centre Animal Hospitalis currently welcoming aVeterinarian with advanced training in exoticsto join our team. Preference will be given to exoticsboarded or internship and/or residencytrained applicants in the field of exotic medicine. As a successful candidate you understand the importance of building relationships with our pet parents and our support team to provide the best care possible.VCA Canada is dedicated to your continuous learning and offers extensive inhouse resources.Our hospitals foster friendly collaborative environments where professional growth and a balanced lifestyle are genuinely encouraged!
A valid veterinarian license allowing practice in Canada
Experience in; surgical procedures preventative care and offering nutritional advice.
Dedicated to promoting teambased medicine practices
Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues pet parents and community
A passion for coaching and mentoring students along their DVM journey
An interest in attending conferences and networking with colleagues
A love for all companion animals!!
The candidate would be leading the creation and development of their ideal exotic department supported by the emergency doctors and the different specialty services as needed. Our specialists and ER doctors are excited to expend their skills as necessary while improving our care for exotic patients.
