The Foreman is responsible for ensuring that everything goes smoothly at a construction site. They are responsible for being the point of contact between the laborers and superintendent. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Oversee and ensure that all safety rules are being followed at all sites at all times
Develop work schedules in accordance with the availability of employees and monitor the personnel
Report project status to superiors.
Be the liaison between track laborers and superintendents
Resolve conflicts or miscommunication that may happen onsite quickly and amicably
Ability to delegate responsibilities and individual projects to the crew.
Job Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Knowledge of local quality safety and health guidelines for the job sites
Must have a great attitude and the ability to motivate team members on site
Indepth understanding of construction operations and processes
Ability to communicate and report effectively
Accountability and integrity are essential as the decisions made in the role affect countless others
Willing to work in the elements in all weather conditions (extreme hot cold rain snow sleet etc.
Recognize avoid and report potential hazards
Must pass all required assessments/trainings
Willing and able to travel to various job sites including those that require overnight stay and those that require short notice mobilization
Available to work fulltime 40hrs/wk. subject to overtime oncall 24/7 alternating shifts nights weekends and holidays

High school diploma or certification in a skilled trade a plus
Fluent in English; Spanish a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to fingers handle or feel; and talk or hear; climb stairs and/or ladders. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
