About the role:
The SAP Functional Security Architect will develop and implement secure SAP security methodologies and frameworks. This role involves ensuring integration with SAP BTP S/4HANA and cloud environments and aligning with enterprise security policies. The architect will design and implement RoleBased Access Control (RBAC) models lead the blueprint and definition of SAP IAM solutions and govern SAP Security Risk & Compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement secure SAP security methodologies and frameworks.
- Ensure integration with SAP BTP S/4HANA and cloud environments.
- Design and implement RoleBased Access Control (RBAC) models.
- Lead the blueprint and definition of SAP IAM solutions.
- Govern SAP Security Risk & Compliance.
- Design and optimize SAP Security for Hybrid Environments.
- Oversee security in SAP transformations and migration projects.
- Develop and deliver a SAP Security Roadmap.
- Act as a trusted security advisor.
- Define and implement audit frameworks and solutions.
- Implement security automation logging and realtime monitoring solutions.
- Document and standardize security architecture blueprints.
- Provide technical leadership coaching and knowledge transfer.
- Ensure alignment with Enterprise IT & Cybersecurity Strategies.
Required Experience:
Technical Skills:
- Extensive experience in SAP Functional Security design across multiple project lifecycles.
- Expertise in SAP GRC Access Controls.
- Strong understanding of SAP Security role architecture.
- Handson experience in IAM solutions within SAP environments.
- Proven ability to deliver sound SAP functional security design.
- Expertise in designing riskbased security controls.
- Demonstrated ability to define security roadmaps and lead crossfunctional teams.
- Experience in transitioning to S/4HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform.
- Experience in designing integrated security models for hybrid deployments.
- Strong background in producing highlevel design documentation.
- Awareness of modern security models and trends in SAP.
- Ability to coach teams and drive knowledge transfer.
- Ability to engage Clevel executives and organisational leaders.
Whats on offer
This contract is available for an initial term until 30 June 2026. The preferred work location is onsite in Brisbane QLD.
