Job Description
Become a Teacher Assistant in the education sector located in Flatbush. This role offers a salary of $25 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
- Provide support to students in the classroom including oneonone assistance and small group activities.
- Help maintain a positive and organized learning environment.
- Assist with classroom management and behavior reinforcement.
- Help prepare instructional materials and classroom resources.
- Supervise students during lunch recess and other noninstructional times.
- Assist with student assessments and recordkeeping.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff members to meet the needs of all students.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in education or related field a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience flexibility and a passion for working with children.
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of child development and educational principles.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
Location: Flatbush
Salary: $25 per hour
