Being a ProgramSpecialist at Devereux Adult Services has its AdvantagesThis position will work very closely with the entire clinical treatment team. You will take the lead on coordinating treatment for a caseload of individuals in a residential program. Not only will you be a key member of the treatment team you will serve as an advocate to ensure the individual is receiving individualized and appropriate care and interventions. Additionally this position offers a flexible day time work schedule and will work out of an office in Berwyn PA
The Program Specialist role is responsible to:
Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders including: agencies families Individuals and Devereux operational departments in the coordination and implementation of an Individuals Support Plan (ISP). Ensures that: all supports and services identified in the ISP are provided the supports plan is relevant and comprehensive a continuous active treatment program is consents and approvals for restrictions are in place and services identified are in compliance with applicable service definitions and state and federal funding requirements and regulations; the support plan is relevant and comprehensive. Acts as a liaison between departments to coordinate the completion of all annual reports and obtain complete & accurate documentation which is evident of the delivery of services. Ensures benefits are in place and without lapse.

Bachelors degree in Social Work Human Services or related field.
Two 2 years experience in the Human Services field working with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities mental health diagnoses and/or TBI. Requires knowledge of regulatory requirements and an ability to adhere to established regulations excellent customer service skills as well as written and verbal communication skills organizational skills and problemsolving skills. Must be able to adapt to rapidly changing demands of the position customer needs and the organization. Must be proficient in Word Processing and Database management. Must possess and maintain valid drivers license and be at least 21 years of age
