In your role as aSignal Technicianyou will:
- Performpreventative maintenance and regulatory testing on railroad signaling and traffic control equipment.
- Performtroubleshooting and repair of railroad signaling and traffic control equipment.
- Trainand qualifyin SNJLRTS Operating Rules.
- Trainand qualifyto maintain railroad signaling in accordance with 49 CFR parts 233 236.
- Perform signal construction and other related tasks as assigned by the Supervisor of Signal Maintenance.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in Electronics / Electric Field or equivalent work experience.
- 0 to 1 years in the railroad field with a technical diploma or certificate; 5 years in the railroad field without a technical diploma or certificate
