Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Java system administrators and specialists to launch their first USbased consulting team. This role is critical in ensuring the technical success and excellence of migration projects for leading global companies and brands. As a key technical expert in migration projects you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient transitions from Oracle JDK to OpenJDK alternatives. Your deep technical knowledge will be essential in guiding and executing complex migrations conducting workshops for client administrators and senior management at global organizations and navigating diverse IT landscapes simultaneously. Your ability to communicate Java infrastructure concepts effectively and your strategic insights will be instrumental in driving success alongside our team of industryleading professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Strategy & Leadership: Provide guidance to enterprise IT teams on the scope challenges and technical aspects of Java migration projects. Maintain best practices and ensure high standards are upheld throughout each project lifecycle.
• Workshops & Training: Lead detailed technical sessions for client IT teams worldwide. When necessary facilitate strategic discussions with senior management covering JDK distribution complexities compliance considerations and migration best practices.
• Managing Multiple Projects: Oversee and execute multiple concurrent migration initiatives balancing priorities while ensuring successful project delivery.
• Migration : Apply our structured migration framework to assess client environments identify potential risks and deliver tailored solutions aligned with business needs.
• Client Advisory Role: Act as a trusted technical consultant fostering strong client relationships and providing ongoing support throughout and beyond the migration process.
• Industry Expertise & Innovation: Stay ahead of emerging trends in Java and JDK technologies continuously enhancing your expertise.
• Process Optimization & Standardization: Continuously refine migration methodologies tools and best practices to optimize client outcomes and establish de facto standards for Java infrastructure architecture.

Qualifications:

• Oracle JDK Migration experience is required
• Selfstarter who thrives in a startup environment
• Customerfacing consulting experience is a plus but not required
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at a time
• Ability to work 40 hours per week
• Flexible work hours to support global customer base
