We provide our clients with professional services specialised aerospace and defence sales delivery and operational subject matter expertise. We are looking for personnel to join our team and support key client projects.

Who we are supporting

Allied Command Transformation (ACT) is NATOs leading agent for change: driving facilitating and advocating the continuous improvement of Alliance capabilities to maintain and enhance the military relevance and effectiveness of the Alliance. The main objectives of ACT are: providing appropriate support to NATO missions and operations; leading NATO military transformation; and improving relationships interaction and practical cooperation with partners nations and international organisations. ACT therefore leads Alliance concept development capability development training and lessonslearned initiatives and provides unfettered military support to policy development within NATO.

The program

Capability Development & Management Support (CDMS)

DCOS Capability Development (CAPDEV) acts as the Supreme Allied Commander Transformations Director for guidance direction and coordination of the activities and resources of the Capability Development Directorate.

The Requirements Division will execute all tasks and activities needed to support requirements management for NATO capabilities

The Capability Requirements (CR) Branch will develop the Capability Requirements Brief and recommended courses of action to resolve issues through the life cycle management of requirements using matrixed crossfunctional projectspecific Requirements Management teams.

The Requirements Forward Branch (Mons) is responsible for conducting requirements development and management representation and engagementrelated functions in Europe.

The Capability Division coordinates the development of capabilities from capability planning through acceptance and then disposal with management entities NATO Headquarters staff and the NATO Governance Structure

The Capability Forward Branch (Mons) coordinates with ACO NCIA NSPA NATO HQ territorial Host Nations and NATO Centres of Excellence (COEs) to support the development of capabilities.

Strategic Plans and Policy (SPP) supports Allied Command Transformation in formalizing military advice to shape future military strategy political guidance and other policy documents supporting NATOs strategic objectives.

Role Responsibilities

  • MS Project Server Ecosystem Development: Support portfolio management by developing and maintaining a suitable Microsoft Project Server ecosystem for the organization.
  • Custom Development: Creating custom solutions and integrations using Project Server Interface (PSI) and ClientSide Object Model (CSOM).
  • Workflow Development: Designing and implementing custom workflows to automate project management processes.
  • Customization: Configuring custom fields views and filters to help portfolio managers easily access the information they need. Customizing Project Web App (PWA) to align with the specific needs and processes of the portfolio management team.
  • Data Consistency: Maintaining data consistency and accuracy across integrated systems.
  • API Integration: Integrating Project Server with other enterprise systems using APIs ensuring a holistic view of portfolio data.
  • Testing and Debugging: Conducting thorough testing and debugging of custom solutions to ensure they meet requirements.
  • Automating Processes: Implementing workflows to streamline approval processes status updates and other repetitive tasks allowing portfolio managers to focus on strategic decisionmaking.
  • Developing Custom Reports: Creating tailored reports that provide insights into project performance resource utilization and portfolio health.
  • Dashboards: Supporting the design of custom reports and interactive dashboards using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) tools like Power BI to give portfolio managers a realtime view of key metrics.
  • Training and Support
  • User Training: Providing training sessions and materials to help portfolio managers and their teams effectively use Project Server tools and features.
  • Ongoing Support: Offering ongoing technical support to resolve any issues and ensure smooth operation of Project Server.
  • Business Compliance: Ensure compliance with organizational policies and best practices for project tracking reporting and resource management.
  • Organizational Compliance: Ensure compliance with NATO policies industry standards and regulatory requirements for project data management.
  • Performs additional tasks as required by the COTR related to the labor category.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Certification in project management or business analysis (e.g. MSP PMIPBA CBAP PMP) preferred.
  • Minimum five years of experience in project portfolio management resource planning or enterprise project data analysis.
  • Minimum five years of experience in analyzing complex project data developing reports and creating dashboards using tools like MS Project Power BI Excel and SQL.
  • Experience improving project workflows optimizing resource allocation and supporting project governance frameworks to enhance decisionmaking.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in effective oral and written communication including briefing and coordinating with business stakeholders.

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Project Management Business Administration Information Systems Operations Research Finance or a related field.

Language Proficiency

  • Advanced Proficiency in English.
