Job Description
We have a position available in the Germiston area in Johannesburg for a Financial Accountant to be responsible for the entire accounting and administrative function for the Johannesburg branch.
Annual Financial Statements
- Company secretarial work Statutory requirements and reporting deadlines
- Preparation of monthly reporting packs for directors review
- Taxation computations etc
- Management of 2 Junior Accountants
- Debtors Management
- Standard Costing Variance analysis
- Cashbook reconciliations
- Reviewing Accruals and posting month end journals
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Stock Management cycle counts adjustments Transfers etc.
- Data collection for Budgeting and Cash flow forecasting.
- Financial and Internal controls
- Bank beneficiary management
- Bank uploads and remittance review
Requirements:
- Accounting qualification
- A good understanding of taxation
- Financial Accounting
- Own vehicle
- Experience within a manufacturing environment
