Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Branch Accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities ensuring accuracy and contributing to the overall financial health of the branch.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Process vendor invoices initiate payments and maintain accurate records.

Manage customer accounts prepare invoices and ensure timely collections and submission of invoices along with proper supporting documents .

Financial Reporting:
-
Prepare and analyze financial statements reports and budgets.
-
Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.

Petty Cash Handling:
-
Safeguard petty cash funds and disbursements.
-
Reconcile petty cash transactions regularly.

Bank Reconciliation:
-
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.

Investigate and resolve any discrepancies.

Documentation and Compliance:
-
Maintain organized financial records in compliance with company policies and regulations.

Assist in internal and external audits.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments to gather financial information.

Communicate effectively with team members and management.
Requirements:
-
Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field.

Proven experience as an Accountant or relevant role.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Zoho).

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
