How will you make a difference
As a Web Analytics Specialist you will work directly with clients to implement custom web analytics tracking solutions to support our agencys online advertising services. As part of the Web Analytics Specialist team you will use Google Analytics Google Tag Manager Google BigQuery SQL web browser development tools Looker Studio and related technologies to solve challenging tracking and reporting problems for our clients and internal teams. You will regularly test and deploy tracking scripts and troubleshoot problems with data accuracy and trends. In addition you will have the opportunity to work with inhouse tools that boost the power and efficiency of data analysis and reporting.
Intellectual curiosity attention to detail and a selfmotivated proactive mindset are the necessary tools for success. In addition you should have a passion for data an interest in writing basic custom code solutions and a customer service mindset to help clients achieve their data collection and reporting goals. We will provide all the training you need to become an expert in all inhouse and thirdparty technologies.
What will you do
- Develop expertlevel knowledge of the tracking and reporting capabilities of data collection tools such as Google Analytics digital advertising platforms ecommerce platforms and other related technologies.
- Communicate data problems and solutions to clients in terms that are easy to understand and relevant to their business needs.
- Answer trackingrelated tickets from clients and internal teams ensuring timely responses and effectively managing multiple deadlines.
- Design web analytics solutions by understanding a clients data collection goals gathering requirements defining project scope and providing technical guidance.
- Directly implement and test tracking solutions using Google Tag Manager JavaScript and browser development tools.
- Create maintain troubleshoot and improve tracking installations.
- Assist with advanced data joining and query building in Google BigQuery using SQL to support Looker Studio reporting and inhouse data enhancement technologies (training provided).
- Ideate and design strategically insightful reports within Looker Studio.
- Work collaboratively within a small team environment to optimize idea and knowledge sharing.
- Develop related training materials and process documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Web Analytics Team Lead.
Requirements:
Minimum qualifications are listed below; however stronger skillsets and experience are welcome and rewarded at ROI!
- Bachelors degree or related experience in a quantitative or technical field (e.g. Data Science Data Analytics Computer Science Math Statistics Engineering or related field)
- Basic familiarity with some web development or programming languages and debugging tools (ex. JavaScript SQL HTML/CSS TypeScript JSON and/or Chrome DevTools)
